Video Capture Card
By using DS-4004H video capture card, each card supports four channels video in and audio in. Video capture card is inserted on PCI slot of PC server, and connects video data bus of monitoring camera to receive video information. It can also connect four channels audio input of active microphone.
Each GuardEyes sever can support 4 DS-4004H video capture cards at most, ie it can support 16 channels images and sound input.
Sound card
Sound card is inserted on PCI slot of PC server, and supports sound communication and broadcast functions. GuardEyes 5.0H Professional Version supports 8 channels of sound communication and broadcasting at most.
Speaker socket of the sound card is connected with the sound source wire of the loudspeaker or amplifier.
Sound cards of every brand of this system support Window system. When multiple sound cards are used, please use various chipset sound cards.
GuardEyes 5.0H Professional Version may divide the stereo sound channel into two mono sound channels, thus one sound card can support two channels. Sound cards that support the left-right channel division are: Creative SB Live ESS Allegro, C-Meadia8738, FM801。
Requirements of the video and audio peripheral equipment
Camera
The signal wire of the camera is connected to the DS-4004H video capture card of the server of GuardEyes 5.0H Professional Version.

Pan Tilt cameras that support NewPecolD, PecolD, StdPecolD, A01, EviD30, Dscp ,Kre302, LILIN, MD, Asd and other communicative agreements.
Each GuardEyes 5.0H Professional Version supports 16 channels recording at most.
Microphone
Each monitoring channel needs active microphone as the sound input device of the channel. To support the monitoring and recording function of each channel, the sound source wire of the microphone should be connected to the DS-4004H video capture card of the sever of GuardEyes 5.0H Professional Version and each card supports 4 channels of sound input.
One GuardEyes 5.0H Professional Version can at most support 16 channels sound input by microphone, ie it can do 16 channels monitoring.
Loudspeaker and power amplifier
The channels that need sound communication or broadcasting should dispose loudspeaker and power amplifier. The sound source wire that is used as the sound output side when communicating with each channel should be connected first with loudspeaker and power amplifier, then with the sound card of the Sever of GuardEyes 5.0H Professional Version.
