- Provide independent recording mode for each channel, scheduled recording, manual recording, and motion detection recording. Motion detection recording can record 3 seconds before the detected event to 5 seconds after.
- All 16 channels of video and audio can be recorded simultaneously with the image resolution of 704x480. With the advanced H264 hardware compression technology, GuardEyes can record 16 channels (30 fps per channel) for 1 week with an 80 GB hard drive. If motion-detection recording is set, GuardEyes can record 16 channels for 1 month with an 80GB hard drive.
- With cycle recording, the old data will be overwritten with the new video when the disk space is full. There is no need to worry about hard disk space.

- E-Mail: send E-Mails with the image of the scene to the administrators
- Telephone: dial out to the administrators with the pre-recorded voice message to inform the situations
- Window flash: the window of the motion-detected channel will flash for notification
- Short message: send out alert messages to computer screens of specified persons
- Voice alarm: trigger the specified speaker to play pre-recorded voice file
